The plan was to go enjoy some swimming and beach volleyball the the Palm Beach resort somewhere in Port Dickson...I really enjoyed myself there...having my first swim in...err...maybe...9 to 10 years...the last time I had a swim was before I moved to Kuantan...usually at the Pusat Akuatik Shah Alam...I was just about to get to know the basics of volleyball...my friends were always there to help me...thanks!!! My hands were swelling a bit after 4 long games...must endure the pain...ouch!!!
After that, we continue our journey to Melaka to enjoy some 'ikan bakar'...Yay!!
Sadly, when we got there, the restaurant was out of fresh fish...Aiyoyo...cannot blame them...when we got there, it was already near 9pm...so I just have to order normal meal...'Nasi Ayam'...sob...and 'Satay'...Yay!!! ....Also I got the chance to taste the 'Otak-otak' of Melaka...What can I say...hurrmmm....the thing that looks similar to that of the 'otak-otak' is tounge...very long tounge...jelly-like...and the taste was awful!!! Eeuuurrrgghhh!!! Not even close to Kuantan 'otak-otak' which was has the heavenly taste of the spices and fish and resembled the real recipe and taste of traditional 'otak-otak'...from the way I looked at the expression on the faces of my friends, I was very sure that they had never tasted Kuantan 'otak-otak'...they ate the Melaka 'otak-otak' like eating kuih...very full of appetite...
